Eric, couple questions from your comment below RE: observation drill:

What's the reason for continuing this drill throughout the course?
And I assume your meaning to not take any trades throughout the course but to maintain this exercise throughout?

You can certainly take trades. I would recommend defining your edge well through performance metrics.

The drill is an awareness drill, and should be practice separately (no trades taken during this process). This allows for the strengthening of observation without any impacting stress of "having to do something" which may distract.

Checking IM understanding you properly - So defining edge through performance metrics means studying charts, tracking setups for performance, defining which ones perform best in particular situations.....

Understood RE: awareness drill. FYI I find this one a challenge but when I do zone in, it opens up a very different perspective.
