Application for drawing on images for homework

I'm currently on the homework for lesson 4.5 - Market Cycle and am running into issues with the lack of tooling for drawing on the images given for the homework.

I've looked and posted about getting 2019 data, but that's not easy and may not even work. So I'm trying to make it work with the images.

Is there a recommended application to do this with? The best I've found so far is converting the Powerpoint to a pdf and using Adobe Reader, but I feel like it could be better. I've tried Powerpoint, Paint, Paint .NET and Adobe Reader.

With reviewing so many charts I feel like the inefficiency of this is starting to add up, so would like to make sure I'm going about it the best way.

First, kudos!!!! That is quite a bit of effort and training.

As powerpoint allows for the copying of lines for parallel channels that is a potential. Essentially whatever works quickest in your workflow and also creates an output for review. This is important as memory can be deceiving.

What you may find is that after the first month, your vision will sharpen as there is sufficient repetition in a month for common patterns to become higher in our awareness. Note, copying horizontal lines from one graphic to another, and within a graphic also becomes easy enough.

This lecture takes a bit of work, and the time invested, even if it feels slow, should enhance pre-pattern recognition too. You may also find a new awareness of how prices move between support and resistance in the micro and larger patterns helpful. Save your outputs, for the case you return later to appreciate the progression . It is likely the last month's drawing are sharper than the first ones.

I've got into more of a groove tonight with finding the right level of detail with the tools I'm using.

Yeah, I don't mind that it can be slow, I just like having nice tools to do it with

Thanks Eric! That does clear up some questions I had for the homework too. I wasn't reviewing or saving the outputs, I can see why that'd be nice. And it's been very helpful watching prices move between support and resistance, that is not something I was doing before the course and it helps so, so much.

Heres another option: Load the chart image as a background image on NT, then use your tools draw on the image. This vid shows you how to do that....

You may be able to just scroll down to take the candles out of the view..
